I would like to share my experience too. BMWong at Cheras helped me with my E36's problem recently and didnt take a single cent. The E36 was vibrating and also its hard to start... Suspect problems are 1. Fuel Rail 2. IVC 3. Fuel Pump 4. Fuel Filter 5. Engine mounting 6. Crank Sensor 7. Starter 8. weak battery trouble shooting ... He open up my fuel pump and plug in one of his to test.. Open the IVC and AFM.. serviced and cleaned Checked vacuum hose Plug in his crank sensor Plug in a new battery From there... solution are 1. earth wire from battery is loose 2. vacuum hose are cracked My problems solved and it took him 7hours to trouble shoot.. no charge at all!!! I feel so bad. He only request me to have my car back for service.. and have a few wear and tear parts to be replaced. He said I am lucky that he is not too busy then.. (Wed) I am not the only guy who benefit from his kindness but many E36 owners... as I can see a few bimmersclub members there too.
