Basically torque times RPM divided with constant (i dont remember the constant) equals HP. So if you have a low torque engine, you need revs to gain more horses ie the honda way or if you have a lot of torque, you do not need to rev the engine as high to get the same amount of horses. the thing is that engines that are designed to produce high torque (long stroke, heavy flywheel etc etc) does not like to rev so much. ie limiting the horses that can be produced. to answer the main question, i'll go for torque any day.!</blockquote>
