I was invited to test the petrol about 2 weeks before the launch and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the performance of the fuel and it's additive. The full tank that was given free kept me going for around 330miles (sorry my meter is in miles). This was done with a mixture of around 40% town driving and 60% highway driving. I refilled when there was approximately 6.4litres of fuel left in my tank. In comparison, a full tank of RON95 from Caltex takes me to around 270m-280 miles and this is usually achieved only with a majority of highway driving. Even my gf's is reporting a big improvement in her fuel consumption on her first tank of Petronas Xtra. Power wise, it's not RON97 or VPower, but it does feel a little bit better compared to other RON95 available out there. All in all I would it's a great new product from Petronas. Looks like I'll be staying with Petronas for a while now.
