there is a case where one model of passenger aeroplane explode killl every single life on it, the cause is circuit for "in flight entertaintment" faulty. I don't like too many electronic gadget on mechanical machine.

i think im more mystical.....imagine if ur alone on the outskirt road....theres nothing u can see with ur true eyes but an object moving at the night vision screen....creepy eh...hehehe

Well, this gadget could save lives though....not only ours but someone else's especially for those who travels often on coastal roads and through kampung areas at night. Plus the lives of some idiotic roadusers on these poor litted roads that can't accept the fact that a well lit tail light can save their own lives!

Ha..ha..ha.. bro, you have hightechnologyprobia...

unfortunately, with the advancement in micro circuitry, the reliability of electronic is 100 times more when electronic were first introduce.

Look at computer, digital camera and handphone.. this is the area where the mass demand have make the price more affordable to the mass.

Wonder whether it can work on a rainy days.. if can, no need to install HID..

can drive in dark when your headlamps go bust..

Hmmm, drive in the dark, without headlights and speeding... might be able to catch "hantus" by surprise.

Can spy at love haunts too... ahem.

I think it detect "heat', so she need to be very hot .............

i don't think the detector is sensing heat. If you look at the first picture, the motorbike headlight is shining toward the car but the picture on the screen show that it is dark..

According to the press blurb the camera works on infrared. But it is based on infra-red heat signature.

So no idea if it goes through clothing but with a 300m range, it is obviously more powerful than any IR that Sony ever put on their dubious handycams.

Yeah, and very soon, the authorities might put a stop to its use or limit its capability as what had happened to Sony's videocameras with the "night shot" feature... due to abuse.:D :D

it uses a light beam photo effect sensor that picks up very low light particals, that the human eye can't see in the dark, then it amplifies them as out lines.. just like your old slr cameras..

heard somewhere that it didn't work too well for our weather as it's operating on infra red detection and our roads are HOT...

I Think I saw one fitted to a Toyota Wise front and back but don't know how it works as the owner says its a camera to guide you the closeness of others to your car, it's fitted in the front grille and at the plate number lights.
