Was told the M60 engine quite problematic & cost a bomb to maintain. Also the straight six engine is more responsive:dontknow:

i prefer a more subtle approach like the msport package. believe that way the essence of e38 (probably the best packaged modern bmw) is best retained.. itu my opinion lar.

i'm not a guru on e38's.. but i was referring the ones with lowered sports suspension and supportive seats. unsure if they're called msport though. anybody can enlighten us on this..?

yes its available...we have a member driving it but cant remember his nick here..he wanted to sell his (728year 2001 MSport, wt tv screen and telephone), went for test drive, but prefer my 730i V8....
