Newbie R1200GS owner in KL

Hi,I'm in KL but my R1200GS is still in UK.I would love to have it here - I plan on staying a few years - but the importation seems very difficult - any brought in a vehicle from UK? - or Europe? - is there an easy way?Thanks,Robin

I take it you're from the UK..most local guys bring in cars due to the unique requirement for an 'Approved Permit' to bring in foreign vehicles.

But in your case if you are not a local,I'm not sure if the AP rule holds..if you do not plan on selling your vehicle here.

Perhaps some other members may be able to shed more light on this matter..
