New to BMW Club

Hi all,I've just bought myself a 2006 E60 525i UK Spec. Lovely car. Any advised on things that you need to check apart from the usual oil change etc, like do i need to update software for the idrive and what not. Appreciate any advice you guys can give me. Many thanks.:smile:

Thanks iceman 13, i will only take delivery the car after chinese new year. Was hoping to get the car before but the salesman told me tak sempat la for puspakom and jpj inspection. Anyway, happy chinese new year to all club members.

anyway .. congrats on your new ride .... awesome car. You will definitly enjoy it. No need to worry too much on maintaining the car. As you can see for yourself there are more than 30 E60 owners here to assist should you need any .So if you do come across any issues, just post it here (with details of problems) and all OM will glady lend you a hand ....:top:

I saw this ad at mudah.com. http://www.mudah.my/BMW-5-series-interface-4644545.htm?last=1 . What do you guys think? Should I check it out? Appreciate any input on this matter. Thanks.

I am new too, juz got my 520d sport alpina white for a week nw. Superb machine. Any advise if I should change the RFT tyres? I feel they are pretty hard and compromise the ride comfort. VIVA Beemer!

Just got my new ride today Worth the wait. Just need to confirm with all the sifu's, any idea on why the cd player refuses to read from a burned music cd. I've tried original music cd, it works ok but when i used a music cd burned from itunes or toast, it refuses to read the read the cd. Any help is very much appreciated.

Did you burn it as data disc (i.e. MP3 format) or into the proper audio CD format? CD changer can play only audio CDs not MP3. Might be the burner settings. Maybe you have to close/finalize the disc. Mine are OK. I use CDBurnerXP software
