Hi, guys. I recently just acquired a second hand E92 325i. This is my first continental car, and therefore I'm clueless of almost everything. Would appreciate it if you guys could help out a new Conti member. Appreciate it.(1) Where do you guys usually service your BMW? Usually official dealer or outside workshop? If so, any workshop to recommend?(2) So far, I have already ordered a 19'' BBS rims for my E92 from Eurotuner. Those are the rims I always wanted even before I got my E92. Can I ask where do you guys go for suspension upgrade? Any famous workshop like those JDM sport cars usually go to?(3) I've been doing some reading around (not in this part of the forum) that generally BMW go for Supercharge. What are the more popular Supercharge brand that I can choose from? And again, where can I get them? I know they don't come cheap, but I'm interested in making my E92 'meaner' in the near future.(4) What about exhaust mod? What are the more popular ones. And again, where? I find the E92 stock very quiet. I'm always been a fan of the ///M growling sound. So intend to do something about it.The only brand I know of is Remus. So far I quite like it. Where can I get them?Pardon my ignorance as I mentioned that this is my first continental car, therefore I know nothing about it. Appreciate it loads if you guys could share with me the 4 questions I posted above. It's hard to find a topic to read what people have modded on their E92.

hi bro..congrats on your newly acquired e92 :top:

would be good and easier for us to help if u can specify which e92 model u're driving? 320, 325 or 330?

for starters, u can try one of our vendors for the supercharger kit (ArmaSpeed); easy plug n play to install, realiable and quite reputable brand:

http://www.bmwclubmalaysia.com/forums/showthread.php?43593-DME-Catalog-ARMASpeed-Supercharger

oh by the way, if u haven't done so, please introduce yourself at the newbies section:

http://www.bmwclubmalaysia.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?30-Newbies

that way we can welcome you properly to the forum and be part of the bmw family :)

Hi bro, congrats on ur newly purchased E92. Such a nice model. hehe

For workshop i suggest you try Autobahn Specialist in sunway. good service with reasonable price.

You can get remus exhaust from motorsport division sunway or exoticmods damansara.

Suspension maybe can try KW Ver2

SilverBullet, it's a 325. Pardon me for that. Was too excited while posting that I left out that small details.

Oh yeah! I have yet to introduce myself in the newbie section. WIll do that right away.

Speaking of which btw, the supercharger thread you posted. Is that sort of the ''most basic'' supercharger in the market? Cause I did the conversion and it's around RM20k.

Also, the 2nd video from the link. 0.29-0.30. It sounded like BOV (blow off valve). The sound of the BMW. Is it all from the supercharger, or a mix of both exhaust and supercharger?

Hi hakim, thanks for the reply. If I may ask, most of the owner around service their BMW outside or still go back to the official dealer after their warranty is over?

Beside Remus exhaust, what more exhaust are there that sounds good. From your perspective of course. I know the question I ask is subjective.

I doubt any owner of a recond goes back to BMW, as for official cars, personally i see no reason to go back once the warranty is over. BBS are great looking rims...but not as tough as i expected, my 3 day old CHR was dented badly in a pothole at Curve tunnel...so heart pain

Right on! I actually place my order on the 19'' BBS CH-R. Where do you service your car? Autobahn Specialist?

good to see your intro in the newbies section bro :top:

most basic supercharger? not quite sure what u mean by that bro..indeed there are a few supercharge kits around with different brands and power output, but i heard Armaspeed is one of the commonly used for e9x engines..best u contact our official vendor Devillian for further info..on the BOV sound, I noticed this SC kit does include a Blow Off Valve as part of the Stage 2 kit..so I'm guessing the one you heard in the video IS the sound of a BOV..a very cool one too..go for it!!

LOve the warm welcome too. Looking forward to meeting you all.

I was in Hup Shun the other day, and saw this heavily modded BMW. With ///M stripe, but doubt it's a M. Lovely exhaust note, rims, tyres and all. Driver don't look local though. Regret didn't ask what mod he has.

I think many if not all of them are going to outside after warranty ends..but at least go to reputable specialist workshop or else kena potong!

If u want something sounds really good, try akrapovic. but not sure available or not for 325.

please dont super charge noting leave it the way you buy it ..dont stress the engine . you can modify the interior and exterior...the best advice ever i can give any
one.

The main mod that I want to do for my E92 is to make is loud! Supercharger is a bit to the extreme. I figure a suspension mod, rims and exhaust would be enough to make the car sexy enough.

if u want loud, go for eisenmann race exhaust setup bro..but get ready to pay a lot of money for that..alternative? get an aiseyyman exhaust..hehe costs a lot cheaper

Aiseyyman is replica? LOL!

hehe yeah bro..try get it custom made at our local exhaust shops at Sunway..JFA, Wai Heng, Everco etc..especially the backbox/muffler since that's where you can play the sound most..good luck bro and do keep us updated with your outcomes :top:

i had quad backbox fabricated at Everco for my last car...never again...the drone was horrendous. right at the sweet spot of 3k-4k, it droned like mad, really made me hate the car..was gonna sell of the exhaust, but then got a good deal for the car instead, sold it lock stock barrel. Will never go local again.,....except for simple stuff like Tip change

Yeah totally agree with you on that mate. Seen too many people who went the same exact option and then later changing to a branded exhaust catback. All because at first say too quiet. After feeling and hearing the drone, wanna pull it out already.
