Remove the securing screws for the DVD player (2 on top and 2 at the bottom)3. Pull off the DVD player and remove the 2 ribbon (mark it first before pulling off the ribbons)4. Connect the external mic. If you cannot find a connector, just cut the existing connector and connect it the ext mic cable)see picture of the place of the mic connector.
