Hi ya all!!, B) Due to being new to BMW...... am wondering!! the last batch of E36 is M'sia is 1999.......... Have not seen any 1998 or 1999 E36 325 on the market..... Is there any diff between the older E36 325 (before 1995) with the newer E36 325 (after 1997)...........ThanksRegards,Pug

AFAIK, there isn't any 325i in production after the 328i started. Reason being the 328i and 325i had similar hp rating but 40Nm more torque on the 328i. Putting them on sale at the same time is not a sound marketing strategy.

However, there is a 323i which is a detuned 2.5 liter engine with 170hp (20hp less than the 325i). This 323i is rare here in the M'sia market as it would be an import model rather than CKD.
