Hi Everyone, My name is Sathish. I had introduced myself a few months ago, but haven't really had anything to say, but followed the forum religiously. Anyways I currently drive a e46 coupe, but I had bought the car without the M-Technik Kit. I would like to know from you guys if it would very expensive to get an original kit in Malaysia and if it is available easily. Another question I have is, I plan on installing a double din screen, working on a carputer project to install in my car, my question is the bezel for the modification, is it available in Malaysia or should I get from US as I am in the states and will be coming back soon. Also any e46 owner who successfully moved the climate control unit to install a double din, was it a easy modification I plan on a DIY project. I am sorry If i started this thread in the wrong area. I sincerely appreciate any help. :wink:

First of all , yes you had posted it in the wrong area . Try reposting it in BMW Talk .
I am sure there'll be some response .
Secondly , my drive is the humble E36 318 but I frequent the ebays . I noticed that even for "basic" items , e.g the angeleye , it's like half the price compared to Malaysia - I can only imagine the high end stuffs . You are well better off in sourcing the parts in the states .

If you want to do a customised thing. It is cheaper to do in Malaysia. But you have to go round and round to look for these shops. They do not advertise that much.
But I would vote for you to get your stuffs in the States and then installed them here.
