The weather's absolutely beautiful, temperature's cool, skies clear </strong></p><p><strong>with a light breeze blowing. Unfortunately there was contact, </strong></p><p><strong>the left crashbar and cylinder head hitting the bullbars of the toyota, and Hisham and Eva, </strong></p><p><strong>his pillion was sent sprawling on the road. </strong></p><p><strong>The toyota was quite badly damaged, with a smashed grill and broken bullbars. </strong></p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Incredibly, Hisham only suffered a cut below his left eye, and Eva was unhurt. </strong></p><p><strong>The crashbars took the brunt of impact, protecting Hisham's left leg from being torn off. </strong></p><p><strong>The villagers came out in full force, but they were all apologetic and friendly. </strong></p><p><strong>They arranged to send Hisham to the hospital, and we called on our local contact to pick up the bike and send it to the hotel. </strong></p><p><strong>David and Mai drove over and David rode Hisham's bike to the hotel. While waiting for David, Eddy, </strong></p><p><strong>Dato Kamarul and Sam stayed on at the village. They made friends with the villagers and bought ice cream for all the villagers, </strong></p><p><strong>and had a good time there. Hisham went to the nearby clinic and got his cut dressed. The view was again fantastic, </strong></p><p><strong>and its the first time we will see the Mekong on this ride.
