I tried to simulate rain conditions as follows a while ago. Spraying water 1: all over the wheel arch of the driver passenger side. 2: underneath the car chassis of the driver passenger side. 3: on the windscreen side of the driver passenger side. 4: along the door, bonnet and wheel gaps. And guess what?? The floor mat is dry as Sahara!! Now this has become a full blown mystery. Which brings us back to cloged air-conditioning hoses in the car. Is there some running underneath the flooring of the passengee side which could be leaking due to cloging and happens only during cold rainy seasons?
