Herbert, I agree with xxx. Besides, whilst you can spray the car to matte colour, it may not be perfect as dust tree sap and other pollutants may be embedded in the matte paint. Unlike the normal paint, the painter cant and should not polish the matte paint finished to remove the pollutant. So since most, if not all the painters in maalysia do not have a clean enviroment to spray matte paint, you may have a lot of imperfections on the finish. Secondly, vinyl wrap does not have orange peel compared to normal paint job. I have to admit that the costs is exobirtant and prohibitive but these guys, I know them since they started the detailing business many years ago. The boss, Darren is insanely passionate about giving the best to the customers for what they pay him. I mean, I go to the garage practically everyday and everyday they are working on my car and would take approx two weeks. Even the rims they detailed every inch. This is what I called professionalism and excellent work ethics. (Btw, me no share in the garage ya..lol) For vinyl wrap there are two categories. One is the flat colour and the other with some slight sheen giving it slight metalic look. I prefer the latter. The only issue is that I rushed George to give a coat of paint before the vinyl wrap process. The paint seems to peel off..and the worker has to spend more time trying to get it wrap nicely.. Kayz, yes it is matt silver. For paint job, you may wish to go for frozen grey on the latest M3. They look good provided our painter can get it right!
