Car have since clocked about 15,000km since purchased last April. Lately, car hardly been driven and parked most of the time. On Tuesday, upon starting the car just to do warm it up and do some random diagnosis and this happened. Car started vibrating badly and RPM dropped. Feels just like it's running on 1 less cylinder. Plugged in to INPA and here's the error: Was pretty surprised as I have recently changed all 6 ignitions coils (about 3 months ago). Consulted sifu IceDuke and did some tests this morning. Removed the plugs and coils to check and all seemed normal except plugs is abit wet. Swapped coils between cylinder 4 and cylinder 1 and drove to WP Auto to replace my recently bought fuel filter. All is normal until after the replacement of the fuel filter, drove out of Albert's place, car started vibrating again. Instant gut feel is the ignition coil which was swapped to cylinder 1. Parked the car at the road side, took out the netbook & fired up INPA to diagnose. Gut feel proven to be true as shown cylinder 1 as misfiring, which confirms the coil is faulty. Drove straight to nearby BA Maluri (about 5km away from Albert's place) and drive back to IceDuke's place to get the coil replaced. Restarted the car, did a test run and instantly felt the difference. Car has much better idling, smoother response and more low-end power. Suspected the coil to have been having issues for the past month as FC suffer quite abit and car felt sluggish. Was quite still surprised to find a brand new 3 months old original Bosch ignition coil to go so soon. Called up BA and checked whether do they provide any warranty for it but unfortunately was told none. Next maintenance will be the alternator and shocks. Stay tuned.
