Message: <blockquote data-quote="morrogan" data-source="post: 569346" data-attributes="member: 19033">Eggie, did you try pressing the accelerator when the gear did not engage?  If pressing accelerator, it engage with a "gong" sound, then it is possible the there is a worn gear plate in the gear box.  Anyway, my humble suggestion on the trouble-shooting procedure: 1) same like Bro Deep, do a gear box/axle oil change and see how 2) plug in OBC diagnosis and see the gear box oil temperator (if available), worry about the limp mode due to gear box overheating caused by failed cooling system 3) if all still cannot, I think worst come to worst, might need to open the gear box and do necessary servicing.  Some continental car gear box has got this repair kit whereby worn gear plate can be changed individually.Good luck and keep us posted.</blockquote>
