Got my car foamed last Sat. Decided to do it after all the debating and frankly, I'm happy with it. Very happy.Decided not to do it myself as I'm not too certain about some aspects of it. Instead, sent it to the shop specialised in doing car foaming. I was there for quite a while for the whole process from dismantling to injecting to foam-curing and reassembly. The parts that I got foamed were the B-pillar and the under-door sills. The observation so far is that the chassis flex is noticeably less at the corners especially long sweepers. A drive at the infamous Subang Daytona Loop got me convinced. Bearing in mind the foam is still going thru the curing process. Will comment again once in a few days' time. As for NVH part, frankly speaking, I wasn't really paying attention to that (more on enjoying the drive with windows down). But the ride is better over undulation. Can feel the suspension doing its work instead of body flexes. I know there's been talk on stiffenning the chassis may affect the handling, but do take note that my car is not fresh out of the factory. and after 15 years of service, the chassis is not as tight as what it was then. So perhaps the foaming is 'restoring' the chassis rigidity and plus a bit more. What I've done is only the 'basic' package. May consider to foam other parts but I have to see properly what's the next step. Maybe the entire door sills and lastly front and back (but that one is extreme aledi)Some photos:

everything were properly taken out ie seat belts before foaming. noticed the bulge? it's the foam expanding. the foam is pretty hard when it's properly cured.

side note:

This Mazda Cosmo was there for sound dampening.

It's not a V6 engine, although the intake manifold may suggest that..
It's actually the 3 rotor wankel-rotary 20B engine with 2 sequential turbo. Petrol pump's BESTEST friend.
