I have done research and found that this is one of the inherent problem of N52 engine. I read there is a fix to change the cyclinder cover which is standard fix by BMW at end of 2008. as my unit's production date is Mar 2008, i am trying to claim for warranty to get this changed, i would expect reluctance and just see how i fare in this.</blockquote>
