Hi all bimmers and good day to you.

There is a wind hissing sound from the RHS window/door that I need to rectify. Feel irritating driving UDM with all those wind sound. There is 2 component there. The door rubber and the window rubber which suppose to prevent the wind leak. Which one normally that causing the problem?

Just in case any of you bimmers come across my thread and know how to rectify this I am always open for advise.

I have just replace mine n solved the hissing sound....

Do u mind sharing which rubber ur talking about bro? I oso have this hissing wind sound at speeds above 100km/h ...

Salam Ramadhan. I hope its the one on the body between the door and the chasis. Just need 2nd opinion before replacing it. Dont want to end up replacing the wrong rubber. Thanks volvo. :top:

I think mr volvo is refering to the long rubber that was installed along the door perimeter between the door and the chasis. :top:

This weather strip is fitted on the door body frame...
The other one is fitted to the door itself....

Normally the door weather strip can last longer then the door frame weather strip....

No weekend drive this weekend. My ride stuck in the workshop to mend the leak engine oil from the oil pan. Renew the differential Oil, renew the broken axle mounting and renew the bent lower arm.

I missed my ride!
