My E34 story.

Today i found my car jack that i thought lost long long ago. It actually on kanan side near poket. I face palmed myself.:35/s; I still can't find the car antenna though!

The antenna is actually the rear windscreen demister. The antenna box is hidden inside the rear C pillar passenger side.

Correct me if I am wrong, the earlier batch of E34 (M20 engine) came with external antenna.

Only the later batch E34 (M50 engine) have hidden antennas.

I am using Pioneer headunit and the radio reception is clear. Last time I tried Sony, but not as clear - perhaps different brand has different signal strength reception. One shop told me Pioneer and Alpine are better brand when it comes to this. But haven't tried Alpine myself though.
