When I called my SA, he told me all bmw delivered by them are done the same. His reason-We drilled the holes to secure the no. plate (as if the original holes are not sufficient). I told him why can't u put a double sided tape instead.Isn't it a bloody common sense not to drill holes into one's car, furthermore this is a brand new $200k+++ Beemer.I told my SA you better get me a NEW trunk or I'll bring my car straight to BMW Malaysia and escalate this matter up accordingly.Is there any members out there whom have their brand new BMW drilled with holes into their car rear trunk to secure their no. plate?
