Ive got a BMW E60 2004 model where my back trunk got flooded with water recently and there is a small white box kept along with the spare tyre, called micro power module got wet and my i-drive just went blank. I kept driving my car for few hours and suddenly my brakes failed and the brake paddle went right down the floor. Before the brake failed, the tyre warning sign came out at my speedometer and my steering wobbled for a while, then the brakes are gone. I managed to drive to the nearest petrol kiosk and parked my car there overnight. The next day when i brought a tow truck to tow my car, the brakes were back to normal. I dare not drive the car but instead towed it back to my house, until today i feel the brakes are back to normal but i dont want to take a risk driving it far. I wonder if this is due to the the problem with micro power module or something else. Appreciate if anyone had the same problem to share some advice here. TQ
