So, i went shopping for new tyres for my stock 205/55R16 wheels.Choices:-1) Bridgestone G111 (made in Thailand) ..... RM395/pc 2) Continental ComfortContact-1 (made in M'sia) ..... approx. RM340/pc 3) Goodyear NCT5 (made in M'sia) ..... RM310/pc 4) Michelin MXV8 (made in Thailand) ..... approx. RM370/pc5) Michelin Pilot Preceda (made in Thailand) ..... RM420/pc all inThe quotes for no. 1 to 4 above excludes charges for valves, balancing tyres. So, i put Michelin Pilot Preceda on all 4 wheels ..... RM420/pc inclusive of new metal valve, balancing, alignment .....1st impressions were how silent the tyre was compared to the stock Dunlop SP2000E and of course much better grip, but then comparing to the worn & older tyres ..... but definitely quieter.
