Is anyone here using the Medklinn Mobile? The device continues to run from the cigarette lighter port even when the car engine is swtiched off. Is it safe to let it run like that? Any harm to the car battery? Product Information: http://www.medklinn.com/index.php?page=asensautov1

digital punk has it on his car...even another friend has it.. suggest to remove it when not in use..

If I not mistaken, the ciggy lighter outlet only work when ignition key is on. So when ignition key removed, there no more electrical supply to the device, so won't harm the battery.

AB..nope...certain models even after ignition is switched off, current still flows to the cig. lighter port ...I have been using medklinn for the past 2 years and what I do is, just pull it out to a certain point without pulling out the whole unit until there is no more contact and the blue light is not lighted.

Medklinn

I try to pull it out so that the blue light is off when I park the car. But I have forgotten on a couple of ocassions and the device was left on all weekend. Battery ended flat...
