It comes with one of the best & reliable engine BMW ever made - M54 double vanos, and a very smooth orginal manual transmission. interior is very well taken care of. surprisingly, the power of 2.2 litre engine thru manual transmission is strong and powerful - no sign of under power.I am more convinced to take the E46 when i read an article stating that the chassis rigidity is a massive 70% improvement over E36, though i have to fork out double of my original budget.</blockquote>
