Now it come the time seriously look into this possibility. I wish to have the present intake manifold of my engine M52B28 change to that of one from a M50B25 engine. Has it been done before here in M'sia? Reason being BMW has got this flow constricting intake manifold from a 2.0L installed on the M52B28 to keep the power down to a certain level to prevent it from being tax in a higher category. If I understand correctly, Germany's tax structure on vehicle is based on engine bhp rather than engine capacity. So to keep the then E36 328i price down, they have install the manifold from a 2.0L engine to keep the power dwon to 193bhp on crank.
