M3 Ignition coil

Hello Everyone,Does the e46 S54 engine uses the same ignition coil as the M54s'? I can't seem to find the answer online or maybe its just too technical for my comprehension. Perhaps the M model owners can advice.Thank you.

If the two engine variant uses the same coil the part numbers should be the same in the online site.

U can get the part number from the thread above..and double check with RealOEM website..just like bro blackcat advice..

There's quite a few brand for the coils, Bosch and Bremi?

Not so sure...

Yes it is the same ignition coil used on many standard BMW models except the F series. Quoted for Bremi is around RM80+ each...Bosch should be marginally higher.
However, there been comments on the web about Bremi being cursed with a shorter life-span compare to his evil twin.

So are you going for the Bosch? How much does it cost?

My source only can only get Bremi and he doesn't know the actual price for Bosch. Sorry.
