The other recommended oil is formula RS which I was told by castrol is similar to the Edge sport, as both oils are of group 3 base compound, whereas the TWS is made from group 4 compound and hence the exorbitant price. As for the data provided, I am more than pleased to use the edge sport as I have done for the past 7 months, and given the fact that I change the oil religiously every 4-5k kms as recommended I don't think oil degradation is an issue. As for oil filter, the filter for the s54 is same as m50.
