Looking For Diff Oil

Where can i get Castrol SAF-XJ for rear axle...my diff make noisy between 40-90kmj. I was change diff oil last week Redline 75w90...ada bunyi 'wuuu..wuuu...wuuu'.pleaseee...e36 318 1996::

Is your rear axle with LSD?
What grade is the redline 75w90, is it GL4or GL5?

I don't know LSD or not....Redline 75w90 is GL5 grade fully syenthetic,hypoid.

It seems the oil you use is exactly according to bmw specs.., i was looking for that oil too, but end up using Pennzoil 80w90 for my rear diff. Changed it about 2 weeks ago.., so far so good.

btw, How much you bought the redline?

RM60.00/bottle ( 0.9L )....but still noise.
How to know E36 318 1996 with LSD or not?

There is a small metal plate attached to your rear axle, with ratio imprinted on it.

if you see a letter "S" follow with number, then you have LSD. eg. S3,15.
