this thread was alive at the previous siteuseful to have i thinki ve personally used ProGarage, Mutiara Damansara for my e30 spoiler abt a year ago.I think they deal with Sikkens paint ( used on commercial jetliners).anyway, anyone familiar with Vin Cheong, PJ? It was featured in CBT,NST some months ago.would greatly appreciate directions, add/contact no. thanks.FLY

Try Weng Seng in Sungai Besi - Chan Sow Lin 5. They are just behind AB Sg Besi and AB outsources the paint/body work to them. The body shop in Glenmarie has staff contracted from Weng Seng and AB Sg Besi just sends their cars to them (you'll see many unreg BMWs who got transportation damage there heh). First class work.

Got mine done at UK Best Auto in Tmn Sg Besi. They use Dupont paint. Insist on thicker layer of clear coar so you can detail your car more often...ekekek....Look for James for best price. :D

DD, to be honest, UK Best did a very good job for my e39 last time for the exposed sections of the car. However, the covered parts such as in the bonnet, between the doors, etc, they did sloppy job.. I wasn't too concerned about it last time, but when i wanted to sell the car, most of the interested buyers commented on it.. Also, James wasn't the friendliest vendors I've dealt with, to put it mildly... Just so everybody knows..

Juggernaut has a point. Certain closed areas is not really up to standard. But to me, the exposed areas is more important....hahaha.... ;) But they did respray certain parts of my car after I voiced my dissatisfaction. I feel sorry for what has happened. I guess nobody's perfect. :beaten:

im looking to do a complete re-spray soon. can anyone recommend a paintshop that has MANIACAL attention to detail. i mean real sifus with the proper kungfu to do a good job. i dont think super high quality materials like glasurit is really necessary if the work is done properly.

I got my car sprayed in Desa Tun Razak, forgot the name. It's the corner lot next door to BM World. Don't know what brand of paint they use but their work is good. I saw many conti cars being sprayed there - BMW E46, E39, new Merc S Class, Alfa 166 and even a Ferrari.

Will look for the name card for the name of the shop.

check out lian heng, jln reko, kajang, the gigi emas has real attention to detail when it comes to respray.
