Anyway with regards to the gear, there is a shop after sunway hotel. turn left after sunway hotel, go straight and i believe now it is one way. So you need to turn left again to go around to get to the oncoming traffic. On your left there is tire shop, turn left, and there shoplots on your right. One of them is the one doing the gearbox transmission. They are expert in wiring problems. Ask around and i am sure the tire shop will show you around.
