I work in Port Klang so i always frequent these lelong cars impound warehouse...

My conclusion is that you need to know somebody inside as i was naive and my bid got outbid by 1000 ringgit it was for a green miata for 30k this was 8yrs ago. Don't know if its still like that cause i haven't bid for any recently nor know anybody who did.

Another thing is you have to buy as is and this is a big problem as the cars could have been sitting for quite long up to years for some cause of it being tied due to legal reasons. So do please add repair cost and see if it is worth the effort but there is some gems to be had for a good price....

welcome to malaysia.... same with jpj.

i wonder if we can buy a proton for 1k, and start our own dodge 'em derby like in the US. where we drive round and around a track and bang each other. but we limit the throttle to 4k rpm and only 2 gears so we prolong the fun....:top:

i'm sure somebody here knows an owner of a private, unused & very muddy land somewhere. damn right it'll be fun :)

1k for car, 2k for rollcage and sumpguard, 1k for coil-overs from Brothers, and probably another 1k for used set of Silverstone rally tyres..

Who has successful experience on this kind of lelong before? Any trick to share?

I went to see the cars last two days, most of the cars in bad shape, can only say good to buy as project car.

Anyway there have few cars caught my eye:
