Kafas2 retrofit

F10 LCI 2016 (Vietnam) has successfully retrofitted NBTevo with Road Rap Southeast Asia Evo 2020-1.
I continue to retrofitted Kafas2 with 3 FSCs accepted (7E-BE-BF)
5AS operates all functions.

SLI only reads traffic signs from Camera Kafas2 but not from Data Map.


Can you share your current SLI information in Malaysia?

Dear friends.
Because in Vietnam the SLI function does not work for the Road Rap Southeast Asia Evo map (as I know it is like Malaysia) and most BMW cars in Vietnam do not have the SLI function.
So I want to know In Malaysia Does BMW vehicle have traffic sign function (SLI or 8TH function)?

I hope some members would have the answer for u bro. Yeah i believe the newer models (means CBU) here does have those functions. The locally assembled unit does not.

BMW Function of reading road traffic signs (SLI). For vehicles with Kafas Camera on the driving glass and Hu-entrynav / NBT / EVO / MGU.

1. / First, the vehicle reads road traffic sign information from the in-vehicle map data (Hu-entrynav / NBT / EVO / MGU) with the current vehicle's GPS coordinates and shows the information of the traffic sign Clear the road to the vehicle meter screen and the HUD (if the vehicle has HUD).
2./When Camera Kafas sees the actual road traffic sign information on the vehicle's actual coordinates and if it detects a road traffic sign that is different from the road traffic sign in DATAMAP, the vehicle will show it. Marketing priority from Camera Kafas.

So SLI needs DATAMAP (Southeast Asia) and Camera Kafas, I also have information in Thailand and Singapore that the SLI function works in their country.
I have also retrofitted Kafas2 for my F10 in Vietnam, but the SLI function can only be read from the Kafas2 Camera without reading the road signs from DATAMAP.

I'm doubting that BMW locks the SLI function for each country, so I need your information to be able to find the cause.
