K&N VS Pipercross

hello everyone..would like to know which air filter is better K&N or PiperCross. I am planing to get a drop-in replacement air filter.

BMC !!

Hv used K & N (with no heat shield) and K & N stock paper. I'll stick to stock.

I reckon K&N isn't that bad..I'm using it with no regrets hahah..as for power, dun expect too much of it..

jumpman...how much did u pay for yours??are they the drop-in replacement or the open pod?
I know K&N has a good rep but was wondering how PiperCross would perform. PiperCross i know is cheaper then K&N for the drop-in

when i install it, i can feel the pickup slightlyyyyy better by 5% (u cant really feel it unless u r very sensative) or mayb its my mindset that if perform and i wanted it to because just spend RM350 for it on my E46

Nope,you must mod the whole damn air intake with heat shield and all for simota. Might be too loud for some chaps here though

both are good, and do what they do as advertised.

i've used K&N filters for over 10 years now.. and they have never given me problems.. but as burn said, a complete intake and exhaust system will give you the best performance.

lol...hope it is not mental effect but i am quite sensative to power changes in my car.

Actually can....only the ppl in the car can hear..not sure about BMW's but my friends satria GTi was really loud with the Apexi filter.
