Yeah the LSD on the M3 is a different type compared to those made by Quaife (Automatic Torque Biaising) which can be fitted for my gearbox. Its a pity due to gearing ratio that we can't use the M3's LSD (clutch based LSD) and plug into our own system. Now this is the ultmate bomb man! For this, I would probably get the parts locally here. Yes it is better to order individually to avoid being taxed but I am checking with the local shops here where they have jalan if we want to order in via bulk as well. An engineer once told me, although the difference in terms of the BMW logo removed for the parts, doesn't 100% mean that the parts are exactly the same although made from the same manufacturer. Those that BMW will allow for the logo to be on those parts have to go through BMW's rigid quality control and tests. There are OEM parts with the BMW logo scratched off which they say are parts which have been rejected by BMW and doesn't meet the necessary QC requirements. Of course this doesn't apply to all but when it comes to the lower arm which definitely plays a key part of the car's handling, I think the extra USD$150 is worth the investment.
