For me, I dont rate a tyre thread wear by how long I've own it, but rather the mileage it has covered.If for instance, in 3 months, you have managed to clock 30000-35000kms, I think it is quite reasonable, considering it being an 18 inch.I'm on falken FK452, 245/40/18 n 265/35/18, its 13 months since i bought it, clocked bout 30000kms n have about 50% remaining.I wouldnt say its the longest lasting tyre, but considering the way i drive n the mileage it has covered, its pretty reasnable.(its also a "sports tyre")If tyre wear and comfort are your concerns, the next option would be 17 inch.( since you travel quite extensively, but the LOOK GOOD factor is gone).just my 2 cents...cheers brader...</blockquote>
