Hi,

My hometown is in Ipoh but I never tried this workshop.
I will go to M Performance in Silibin Industrial Area or MHA in Jelapang, off Ipoh-Lumut road for repair and service.

New Age Auto was the only place i send my ex-e36 for sevicing.
Mr. Ng is a quiet well-mannered man Parts which can be repaired, he will try to repair for u unless u want it changed.
At that point of time, the service charge was reasonable.

U can also try Tian Siang ..if u have a newer beemer.

Yes. This is my regular mechanic for my E36 and he will not ask you to change parts unless necessary. sometime, I have to insist on changing the part :wink:
Very reasonable price.

However for newer models with complicated items eg SMG gearboxes. iDrive, he is not so familiar as he has not been keeping up with the times.

So for my SMG, I go to M Performance which is off KK road. This guy was also from BMW workshop and he is updated on latest models.

Yeah, the good ol' New Age auto. Used to go there when I lived in Perak. Ng Kok Kuan... Pretty good troubleshooting skills on the e36 I used to have. He's good and price is one of the cheapest in Ipoh but I hate some of his workers. They have trouble listening to him or us. If he is not directly involved in the work, be prepared for shoddy workmanship. Is he still around? Last time I was there looked like there were less UDMs and he was talking about moving away.

Well he was ther yesterday whn i when for a visit, Ur damn rite bout his workers, Never-Never let them take ur UDM for a test drive without urself present in da car. They drive like a remote control car...so rackels..

I kinda rotate between New Age & Ultimate Auto in Mengelembu . Would
rate them at about average . Both owners are nice & know their stuffs - the only problem are some of their staffs . If you are in New Age , if Mr. Ng is not around , ask for Foong . He's the better one of all the 3 or 4 staffs .

Yes , NEW TECNIC is good too . My company used to used them to service our Saabs & Estimas .
Ultimate Auto is just beside it - ask for the owner , Chai . nice guy .
