Message: <blockquote data-quote="joecool" data-source="post: 10672" data-attributes="member: 9320"><p>hi all,its joe koo here, i am new here and just introduced myself at the newbie section. i cant sleep tonight so hope you guys here can help me with something bothering me.had a good run with a blue e39 528i tonight with my cayman on a clear stretch of road on my way back. this e39 is fast, really damn fast, my car cant even pull away or even overtake him on a 50kmh rolling start.  i almost maxed out on that clear road running after him but my phone rang at mid run and i had to back off. but fate have it that we meet again on the coming traffic light. i gave him a thumbs up for a good run but feeling sore, i signal for a drag at the flash of green with my finger. we go off the line smoothly, minimal wheel spin, again the e39 beat me by almost 1 car length this time. i swallow my defeat and flash for game over. guys, this is what is bothering me. i have ran my cayman with my friend's 545i countless time and i know the outcome with my cayman winning every time. on a power to power comparison would show a clear winner in the 545i with a huge torque advantage over this e39s, so it doesn't make sense how this e39 can be so fast.  so what is this e39 running under the hood. it looked stock except for a rear twin tip exhaust box from the rear. thats it. turbo, supercharged? dont think so as it sounded really stock.Anyone know this blue e39 Wxx XXX or the driver?
