The aluminium is more costly (above RM1k), fast cooling but vulnerable to oxidation or acidic corrosion (what u r suffering now).My ex-E36 did this replacement before and the cooper coil cost me RM800, labor few hundreds too (need to lift dashboard). Over night job, drive the car in at 7pm. Collect car the next morning 8am.
