Been driving a PV6 for the past 2 years as my daily driver. Guess what? It has managed to rake up a repair and maintenance bill worse then my E34, RM15k in total:eek:. Things done to it i.e. top overhaul, cooling system overhaul, aircon overhaul, front lower and upper arms (changed 2 times already), timing belts, gearbox (ok, on my 3rd gearbox already and still not satisfied with it), drive shaft change (guess what? ori about RM1k per set), shocks absorber, spark plug cables (RM300 a set, damn) and recently full overhaul to cure the "makan black oil" problem (but the damn engine is still leaking a bit of oil, leaking from somewhere, yet to find the source). Coming very soon, steering rack, engine mounts, aircon compressor, yada, yada, yada, yada. Luckily it is a company car and tab is taken up by the company. Anyway, the car is a 2001 model and it is at the age when everthing is going, going, going, gone. I would prefer driving SLOTH, no way is the PV6 ever near it in terms of NVH and comfort. My PV6 rocks and rattles on less than perfect roads and turning up the radio is no help. My SLOTH, silence and "did I just go through a bump"? Oh, the PV6 feels tin-can compared to SLOTH and I am taking my chances if I am driving it fast.... In short, I would suggest keep your E34 and sell the PV6... the PV6 is not a cheap car to maintain. Get your E30 and use that as your daily driver....:D
