Kiara Science Center stretch was fine because DSC still on and I was fastest in the "sector".. :wink::top:Reaching the traffic lights, I off my DSC/DTC and pass through the Phileo1 road, few traffic light stops thinking can spin some wheels in the wet.. :stupid:.. after which, I forgot to switch in on and speed down the Taman Tun way. Not many cars on the road. Over took one when passing Caltex and another approaching the Damansara Specialist junction, opposite Taman Tun Pizzahut. I was on the right lane, taking the corner, with DSC/DTC off in the wet, forgot the speed.. <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite9" alt=":eek:" title="Eek! :eek:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":eek:" />I wasn't on the "best line" to take the corner because just over took a car and was on the right lane taking a right curve. In my mind was waiting see the DSC kick in but all I noticed is a permanent indicator!! My rear oversteer in the middle of the negative camber corner, don't know if my front skidded as well but the rear definitely move a lot more, no sign of DSC interference. I did "tap" the brake once, then back to throttle pedal and counter steer. Didn't over counter, no fish tail after the counter. Lucky I was in a proper seating position with both on the steering and full alert.. if my rear move too far and clip the left bank, I would surely bring down few of the huge sign boards lined up there facing the Pizzahut.After regain control, I still notice the DSC indicator remain on, only then I realise it wasn't on at all.. <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite9" alt=":eek:" title="Eek! :eek:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":eek:" />:stupid:All I can say is:1. Never off your DSC in the rain because you may forget to switch it back on when u need it most.2. Correct seating and steering holding position pays off in such situation.3. Counter steer technique and tapping the pedals technique needs a lot of practice to get it right and can't be taught.. my days of throwing my RWD mini MPV in the rain pays off..4.
