I has some problem with the I Drive on my Japan spec E60. The I-Drive is not stable,  it can be on and off as and when it wishes. I don't seem to have control over it . There was a time when the I-Drive was on, a message appeared " High Battery Discharged, some electrical consumers will be shut off". There were also a time whereby there is no faulty message and the radio is alright. Sometimes, there was no sound came out from the radio. It was not in the mute position.What are the causes?. The last time I brought it to the workshop, the mechanic told me that I Drive does not effect the car performance and I would be able use to use it during Raya Break.I am going to bring the car to the mechanic again.When I first bought the car a week before Raya, the battery was replaced with DIN88 free maintenance type. I have read the forum which stated that the battery should be the DIN100.  I have regularly checked the battery, it seems ok with green light on all the times. It soo easy to start the car in the morning. The mechanic told me that DIN 88 could not be culprit to the problem on the I DriveOther than that I Drive problem, the car is extremely good.</p></blockquote><p></p>
