Today, 4 HSP members decided that after a good lunch (Sambal Hijau) it was a good opportunity to peek into the world of Lotus. We had Mavik, NiteDevil, Daniel E30 and myself. Why did we go? Well, we were curious after listening to the remark of a fellow forumer that Lotus is the 'laughing stock of the automotive world'. I guess we were all in the mood to be entertained. The showroom is spanking new with the range of Lotus cars, the Elise CR ... such a sweet car. The Elise S ... what a car to own. The Exige S ... a true dream car to own, only can dream to own that is. The Evora ... can never afford to own, ever ...Lotus had a nice touch to the whole set up ... just behind the showroom is the Lotus owners lounge, its a sweet 2 storey building, like a club house. Futher behind is their workshop. Rest assured that going for a service you will never need to wait. You know why la. Hehehehee ...NiteDevil was most fortunate to meet Mr Oh Kah Beng who was more than happy to take him out for a taxi ride in the humble Europa SE. How was it? Well, we await NiteDevil himself to inform us of how the laughing stock of the automotive world feels like.Daniel sat in the Elise CR and I am sure he is now on the internet trying to figure out how to sell his kids so that he can purchase a Lotus. A really interesting phenomenon bearing in mind that the car is the laughing stock of the automotive world. Hmmmm ...Funny this is ... when we walked away, we were laughing ... laughing not at the car but you know la ...

Should have join u guys...can I be part the group...what u call urself? HSP brotherhood...but, what is the laughing stock la wei...no idea...but lotus a laughing stock...how can one...tq...ps: irfan80 HSP to be

Oh well, I might be the fortunate guy had a taxi ride in the Europa S but now I'm having a nightmare of how to get rid all my rides just to own one "Laughing stock of the automotive world". Not matter is an Elise S1, Elise Cr,Europa S, Exige S or Evora. Lotus has so much things to learn. Getting in and out from the car you required some technics. Driving a lotus it's all about feedback from the ground. Braking, sweeping and cornering is marvelous. I was trying to get same feeling from my Z4 and the feeling is none like "Laughing stock of the automotive world".

P.s Put the blame on Tianci if I'm not renewing my membership.

Hmmmmm ... I wonder how if we track the Lotus, a humble 1.6 litre car against you know who's car la? Eh Lotus car what 'class' ar?

Didnt expect lotus to look so Beautiful! Especially the yellow one with the 'hamsem' driver..

Eh but the window is manual winding...

Errmmm..lotus...notice that even the engine note at idle changed when engage S mode on the Exige...but errr..can win Golf R or not? Cabuuuuuuuut

Ben ... That one overseas spec la. Got it from one of the guys via Watsapp. Accident.

Fredo ... Dunno about Golf R but surely lose to someone who is classy la.

Eheheh....

Ben, lotus is built for the track, hence power window may not be needed...same goes to some version of civic typeR
