This is due to the fact that we have a pool of about 20 - 24 instructors who are ACCREDITED thru an MANDATORY external training programme. Naturally, some instructors may not make it for the day, so in minimum we need at leat 15 instructors to make this work.  Do note that instructors are only required for Group ONE only! Gp 2 does not require instructors and is for more advanced drivers. Gp 3 are for drivers with competition/race experience and instructors. I am very well aware the 2 participant/1 instructor is not perfect, for both participants AND also my group of instructors as we have to do this the entire day. We are increasing our instructor pool. Last of all, and important to note - all instructors work on a voluntary basis who paid for their own accreditation. Our 'salary' is just track time in Gp 3 slots. Yes, we are indeed hard core & passionate enthusiasts and hence to find such drivers for our instructor pool is not easy.  I thank each and every one of them for their dedication and assistance. 2) For Gp1 & Gp 2, we have a max 30 car field. This is the reason why we request drivers to place their car stickers correctly as this indicates which gp they have signed on for. I do not discount the possibility that some drivers misunderstood their own grouping.  For the July 22 event, we placed a placard at the track entry to show which session is on.
