Mine rev until 6500rpm then cut. But I notice it is useless after rev past 6000k. I'm running 3.23 open diff with transmission 5th gear at 1:1, 110km/h around 3k rpm at 5th gear. Stroker i bought 2.XK++ last time. Plus overhaul parts about 1k. Labour same as I did it during the conversion so overhaul together. Aiyo, high displacement will gain more if later boost ma...hahaha~ No choice I have to do the conversion coz I come from M20B20, I hate the sewing machine..... Bro Meow lo... if he were selling his stroker kit 11 months ago then i now got S50B30US with me liao...sigh...(and S50 cams...sigh....) Bro Meow, but i never convert to OBD1, coz it is originally a OBD1 M50B25TU, and the peak torque occur at 4200rpm according to factory spec wor...adding more stroke will bump up the curve to the right meh? It's fast after 3k rpm, the pull really comes. But during hot days + A/C on + passenger, driving below 3k rpm feel like driving a M20B20....zzzzz... What if after adding the M3 cams + chip? (The low end torque will be bump up due to chipped + at the same time upper end increase due to cams?) HP Chart (this is not on-wheel, it's on flywheel, -15% drivetrain lost about 190rwhp)
