Hi BMW lovers , Let me introduce myself . I'm Ed currently driving a sentra 1.8 planning to upgrade myself to a 318ci E46 2 dr version . Still searching for it hope get a few suggestion from the guru guru here before i make a definite purchase haha . so there's a few question i wanna ask . Coz I never thought of getting recon cars before but it seems new bmw cars are so expensive which leave me no choice but to get a second hand punya.:top: How can you guys judge whether is it a good buy or?based on price / specs uk japan ?? which better?/ accident free . this case i paling scared coz outside there's lots of my friends got conned by sales man / millege case i heard it doesn't really matter coz most of them reset it . it is true?/ problems with the coupe?/ any other extras?? :wink: :listen: thx alot!

Welcome bro. If possible, try to find a six pot E46. Second hand OK, recond car also OK. (Probably the first owner also bought recond). What is more important is the condition of the car. Tipu mileage by salesman is normal. What you don't want is tipu manufactured year. I think the main problem with the coupe is the door, coz it is longer than sedan's and heavier too. I might be wrong. But, you can always check.

funfer_fahrer , how can i know whether isit a tipu manufactured year car ? registration card?? . 6 pot is the latest engine isit?? coz they told me 02' was the old engine . then 04' is a new engine thing. I was puzzled . any advise? thx bro! I try to make it for the gathering thing but for the time bein i dont have my beemer yet hahaa..... malu la nak join gang ! nanti kena rogol.
