So, LCP going with Steg's eh ? LOL! We want an audition, dude! Anyway, prices of the HSK165 has come down a little bit more these days in SG. Was just talking to another buddy in SG who confirmed that ori ones are now in the region of SGD 550 or so. Anyway, if you're still keen on the HSKs perhaps Uncle at Golden can get you some ori units for the right price. The Eton's are mighty tempting too ... I've heard them in Affan's car before. Raw drivers .... these are essentially basic drivers from companies like Seas, Scan, Peerless, Morel, Focal and such without any passive crossovers supplied. You buy a pair of tweets and matching mids from a single brand or mix and match them with other brands. You can then either custom make passive crossovers to suit the drivers or run them active using stand-alone or an electronic crossover from your amp or HU. A bit more work involved here but the results are usually well worth the trouble. Regards, VaN.
