Dear SIFUs... need some help here... I'm in the process of getting a widebody conversion done for my E46 sedan... front and rear fenders be brought out to M3 specs.... can someone advise me what are the correct offset of rims I need to fit to the car? Some people have told me to use 5 series rims... can I actually use the 5 series rims? and where are some good sources can I get these rims? Anyone selling 18 - 19" rims that can fit my car?would appreciate any advise I can get..... :)

you can use the e39 wheels on your ride but you will need to get hub centric ring for your new wheel as the e39 has a bigger centre hole.

anyway, how much wider are you pulling your fenders? you would require at least 2 cm wider on all side to fit the wheels and mind sharing where you doing it and hows the workmanship?

Thanks leforte.... I am knocking out the fenders by about 2cm... Car not complete yet, so can't comment on workmanship as yet... will post pics once completed... what will roughly be the cost of the hub centric ring? Does anyone know where's a good place to get used beamer rims?

front u need et38....n rear et20.....most probably 2" n 1.5" if using spacer on standard wheel

Thanks evisuzuki82........ Can a E60 set of wheels fit into my car? I saw this wheels currently on a E60, 19" front 8.5J and rear 9J... the owner wants to sell.. really cun.. do you think I will b e able to use in for my car.... My front fender has been extended by 2.5cm....

ehhmmm....not sure bout that...if i not mistaken...e60 offset running on et20++...it wont fir ur front...i guess....most ideal..if i not mistaken again la.....e90 wheel....better check 1st la bro...or try it at ur car....so,u doing m3 conversion rite now?

you could always try get used rims from M3s, or get custom rims for a perfect fit. 5-series rims may fit but you should always test it out first.

Guys... I've manage to fit in E60 wheels into my E46 3 series... Had to bring out the fenders by 3cm... car looks really wide now... like BTCC machine :D ... car painting now.. should be out next week...

Thanks all for the advise! :)

been awhile since anyone has gone the extra mile..:D post pics man..!!

Will post pics once car is fully completed bros.... shall be out by the 3rd week of Jan...

Btw, I've got Eibachs on the car, but with the 19", I'm concerned that the standard shocks would be too soft and the wheels might hit the fenders... I think coilovers would be needed? Given a budget of about 3.5K, what would be the best coilovers to have?:)
