I think this is a m40b18. not very sure since i only own a e28 n 34 in Malaysia. I am now in Australia. Anyway here is my problem. My car jerks when it is at static to going off. 1st gear or reverse it still jerks. As long as is when is completely stop and to going off. It usually happens when the car is hot (maybe after running for 30 mins) then it jerks (only when going off). Then today drive more than an hour the car  suddenly feels like the clutch is slipping. The rpm meter and sounds tells me that the engine is able to rev till the red line smoothly but when i put in 1st gear, this time it did not jerk but rpm is going like normal and the car just don go as fast as it should. Like a clutch slip feeling. However i cannot feel anything wrong with the clutch as the clutch is light not heavy and i do not need to lift the clutch pedal really high for the car to move. Thus, i believe the clutch is not wear out yet but why does the car feels like this?Really new to e36, didn't even know that the clutch and break fluid shares the same reservoir till i check the owner manual.Sifu sifu please help me. Is expensive to repair car here so i will try to do it my self. So far the only job i have done was changing the spark plug, oil filter, air filter and fuel filter.thank you in advances!</p></blockquote><p></p>
