[QUOTE="samsam, post: 228359, member: 7678"] The best value is... Just my opinion... For the best price with the nicest grip with solid feeling you can really feel, you simply can't overlook the Falken 452 !:42: It is decently quiet (almost as good as the Michelin PP2) and decent smooth comfort. It will also work very well on Mercedes E class. About the highly talked about MichelinPP2 : I had them last year. Yes, they are decently quiet and do provide a fairly good grip in wet or dry but the MichelinPP2 will also give you an unwelcome uneasy feeling (minute vibrations/resonance) after 100km usage. These tyres were balanced several times and also had on-car balancing The irritations becomes more pronounced with true drivers car like a BMW or even an Audi. The PP2 does not absorb rough roads nicely when compared to even cheaper tyres such as Goodyear NCT5 or the Continental Comfort 1. You can read about the PP2 negatives in other forums (asiaone.sg, wheelsforum.au) Is the Michelin PS 2 a fairly comfort tyre as well? I read about it's performance achievements in track tyre evaluations but the next model down which is MichelinPP2's irritating comfort really took it's toll on me and my family and made me look elsewhere for everyday driving. I almost bought the Pirelli Zero but changed my mind after sitting in a friend's car. This was mainly bacause I am not sure of Pirelli Zero Rosso's noise supression ability. My friend had them on his EVO car with loud exhaust blasting! The Pirelli Dragon, I was told is not exactly a decent quiet tyre so that's why I avoided it for family comfort. Toyo T1R is another good tyre but it seem that there are a number of complaints particularly from Msians and Singaporeans about it's performance when the weather gets too hot in the afternoon. You can read about the T1R negatives in other forums (autoworld, asiaone, cardriver.com, modernmotor) I am fairly happy with the Falkens 452 on my 530 beemer. :dancing: But like many others, the quest for a better tire continues.
